Will the college still be providing counseling services to students during the Spring 2020 semester?

Yes, the SMCC Counseling department will still be there to help students during the Spring 2020 semester.
Counseling Division: Services will be provided to students by appointment only, via phone, email or video conference. If you feel a student is in need of counseling or they request it, refer them to our office number, or Maggie's email (Counseling Admin). Maggie will check our division email and voicemail multiple times daily to coordinate counseling sessions with the student and schedule appointments with Counselors.
NOTE: If you choose to contact a specific Counselor directly by email, then please copy Maggie on that email, as well. This will help expedite the process and prevent the email from being overlooked during this time of abundant electronic communication.
