Why did Webex put me into Stealth Mode during the web conference?

User was logged into the Webex meeting as two instances of the same user and one instance was labeled as Stealth mode with a blue and white and name thumbnail displayed (other thumbnail was the typical black background with the name).

Answer

There is a known problem with Webex for logging in twice to the same meeting. Webex is logging you in through the browser for Webex and then again using the Webex app installed directly on the computer. If you close one of the instances so that you are only in the meeting one instance your audio may stop working because Webex thinks you should be using the audio setting from the instance you just closed or logged out of. 

The best solution is to log out and log back in. If Webex logs you in twice again try the next solution.

Copy the link for the Webex Meeting and open the Webex Application on the computer desktop. Join the meeting using the computer application (instead of Webex through a browser windows).
